Here is a list of questions which we are regularly asked by our customers before they place their order.

Q. What is the most economical way of purchasing for a large Burns Supper

A. The majority of our customers purchase a chieftain haggis and some of our catering rolls.

Q. How much notice do I need to give for placing an order

A. You can place your order any time and then select your preferred delivery date at the checkout. We will always deliver in plenty of time for your function. Please also refer to our shipping information for transit speeds.

Q. How long does fresh haggis keep

A. Our fresh haggis normally has a minimum of two weeks date on it, you can however freeze it upon receipt then use it within three months. Our tinned haggis has a use by date of at least six months.

Q. Is haggis gluten/wheat free?

A. No

Q. What is the shelf life of a haggis? 

A. Normally two to three weeks, check the label upon receipt. Our MacSweens haggis can be frozen upon receipt as it is despatched fresh.

Q. Do I need to refrigerate my haggis upon receipt?

A. Yes

Q. Can I freeze my haggis upon receipt, if so how long does it keep?

A. Yes you can freeze our MacSweens haggis, after you defrost it use within two days.
